This rendering depicts the classic Tata Safari Storme.

Imagine finding out one lovely morning that the Tata Safari Storme is making a reappearance sporting a new Classic avatar. How would you respond to that? For many original Safari enthusiasts, like myself, as well as many SUV enthusiasts, it would be their ideal vehicle!

However, this is only a digital rendering of the fabled SUV, and Tata Motors has no plans to bring it back, so don’t rush to cash in on your wallet just yet. A huge thank you to Bimble Designs for creating this stunning render, which has been given a few minor aesthetic adjustments to make it appear current and showroom-ready. This poses a serious risk to the segment if it comes to pass.

A modified grille design with the signature Storme badging is added to the front profile. It has two smoked-out LED projector headlights that are included. The bumper appears to have been influenced by Tata Motors’ most recent SUV models. It also includes built-in LED fog lighting.

The Classic badging on the front fenders is visible in the side profile. The modern Safari serves as the design inspiration for the big alloy wheels. It has door knobs and ORVMs that contrast with black. The rear shape is essentially unchanged, but connected LED tail lights give it a modern appearance.

Although the interior has not yet been rendered, the modern car of the future ought to contain a sizable 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital cluster. It should come equipped with a high-end dashboard that draws inspiration from Range Rover and include amenities like wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated seats, and more.

The 2.2-liter Varicor 400 diesel engine that powered the Tata Safari Storme produced 400 Nm of torque and 156 horsepower. It came with both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations, and it was paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
