In front of the impending Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has released its second list, which includes 72 candidates. Prominent figures including Manohar Lal Khattar, Nitin Gadkari, Anurag Thakur, and Piyush Goyal are on the BJP’s list.
While federal minister Nitin Gadkari kept his Nagpur seat after some confusion because his name was not included in the initial list of candidates for the 2024 Lok Sabha election, Manohar Lal Khattar will run from the Karnal seat.

The party already revealed 195 names on its preliminary list of candidates for the next Lok Sabha elections. In addition to candidates from Uttar Pradesh, the party also nominated people for its 51 seats in West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Kerala, nine Telangana seats, eleven Assam seats, eleven Jharkhand seats, eleven Chhattisgarh seats, five Delhi seats, two Jammu and Kashmir seats, three Uttarakhand seats, two Arunachal Pradesh seats, and one each from Goa, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar, and Daman and Diu.
