Mr. Gwanggu Lee has been named the new Managing Director and CEO of Kia India.

He will spearhead the company’s transformational path, with a focus on long-term business growth.

Kia India, a renowned automobile manufacturer in India, has announced the appointment of Gwanggu Lee as its new Managing Director and CEO, starting immediately. He replaces Kook Hyun Shim and Tae Jin Park as the company’s 3rd Managing Director and CEO.

Tae Jin Park, the former MD and CEO, is slated to retire after 36 years with Kia Corporation, including four years with Kia India. Mr. Gwanggu Lee has over 30 years of experience in the car industry, including senior roles in the United States, Canada, Italy, Mexico, Central and South America, and Germany.

His most recent position was as President of Kia Mexico, where he made important contributions to the company’s expansion and establishment as a manufacturing and export base. Lee emphasized his delight and ambition for his new job in a statement, emphasizing his dedication to encouraging sustainable company growth and creating value to customers, partners, and workers. Lee is anticipated to boost the company’s excellent position in the Indian market with his extensive business expertise and familiarity with Brand Kia.
