In seven districts of Haryana, net service suspension was prolonged for 48 hours.

According to a home department directive, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad, and Sirsa are the seven districts where dongle services (USB connection devices) and mobile internet services will be unavailable for a further 48 hours.
In response to farmers’ organizations’ “Delhi Chalo” call, mobile internet connections and bulk short message services (SMS) would stay closed in seven districts of Haryana for a further 48 hours, ending at midnight on February 15. Prior to this, the mobile services were shut down from February 11 am to February 13 pm.

According to a home department directive, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad, and Sirsa are the seven districts where dongle services (USB connection devices) and mobile internet services will be unavailable for a further 48 hours.
The decree said that in the public interest, individual SMS, voice calls, banking SMS, and internet services offered by broadband and lease lines of businesses and households have been excluded from the shutdown.
According to the home department directive, the dissemination of inflammatory content and rumors on the internet might lead to the abuse of public resources, harm to public property and facilities, and disruption of law and order in certain areas.
