Lamborghini smashes record: 10,112 vehicles sold in 2023, setting new milestones in the US and India. 10% increase in annual income

Lamborghini reached a major milestone by selling 10,112 cars-a record-breaking amount-in 2023 . This was the largest number of vehicles ever sold in the United States. A total of 103 of these were sold in India.

Global sales are expected to grow significantly in 2022 in three major global regions: EMEA saw an increase of 1 4% in sales with sales of 3,987 cars; The U.S. saw a 9% increase with sales of 3,465 cars; and APAC saw a 4% increase with sales of 2,660 vehicles. Notably, sales in India crossed 100 units for the first time.

Lamborghini, the famous Italian supercar manufacturer, broke its annual sales record in the 2023 fiscal year. The company, which is in its 60th year of operations, built 10,112 vehicles in one year, 10% more than 2022-the highest growth in the previous three years.

Stefan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, celebrated reaching the 10,000-car milestone. He commended everyone for their combined efforts on the project and emphasized their willingness to take on new challenges in 2024.

Comparable increases in sales were noted in each of the three major regions: EMEA an increase of 14% in APAC an increase of 9% in the United States, and APAC 4% increase in with sales of 3, 000 units, in the U.S. The largest market remained, followed by the U.K., Germany, China, Japan, South Korea, Canada, Italy and others.

Lamborghini sales in India crossed 100 units in a year, marking an important milestone for the brand and demonstrating the strong demand for high-end automobiles in the country. Sales of luxury cars from Mercedes-Benz India, BMW India and Audi India also set records in FY2.

The Urus sold 6,087 units, maintaining its position as the best seller.
